“Certainly, it makes me sad, but it is not the end of the world. And as they say, step back to better jump. The best is yet to come,” wrote the local sprint king.
The 21-year-old athlete was going into this competition after breaking the national record in the 200m with a time of 19.89 at the French Espoir Championships. A performance that allowed him to be ranked 10th in the world over the distance. There is no doubt that it is only a postponement for him.
On the other hand, the king of local sprinting wanted to wish good luck to the athletes of Team Mauritius for the Games.
