In front of the press yesterday morning at the Sun Trust, the Minister of Public Services brought up the desalination project again. Joe Lesjongard was with Bobby Hurreeram. He said that the CWA ‘has no choice but to reduce water distribution’. He mentioned a deficit in the filling rate of our reservoirs. He says they are on average about 30% full when they should have been 56.6%. According to Joe Lesjongard, we must deal with the deficit. He said that about 100,000 cubic metres are mobilised per day from groundwater.<\/p>\n
