In the series finale, Jon Snow is exiled from Westeros and travels to the North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his past behind.<\/p>\n<p>Since finishing work on the eight-season Game of Thrones series, Kit Harrington has starred in 2021 film \u2018Eternals\u2019. The actor is known for his panache in handling some of the show\u2019s most gruelling filming. Martin\u2019s fantasy universe, similar to Disney+\u2019s management of its Star Wars and Marvel brands. Disney has found success launching sequel series such as \u2018WandaVision\u2019 which stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff. \u2018Obi-Wan Kenobi\u2019 with Ewan McGregor reprising his iconic Star Wars role is another prominent example.<\/p>\n<p>The new initiative could possibly feature other surviving characters from the Thrones series to make an appearance \u2013 such as Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).<\/p>\n<p>This news means there are potentially seven Thrones projects in the works.
