We Did Not Discuss Any Alliance, Says Ramgoolam

Yes to the municipal elections together but no alliance! The leaders of the PTr, MMM and PMSD are currently negotiating. They have already agreed to go together to the next municipal elections but there is no question of an alliance. This is what Navin Ramgoolam said this morning. “We have not talked about an alliance. Following our last meeting, discussions continued today. We have decided to go together to the next municipal elections if they are organised in fourth gear. But beyond that, we did not talk about an alliance. We are trying to determine the points of convergence for a real breakaway programme,” said the PTr leader after his meeting with Paul Bérenger and Xavier-Luc Duval on Wednesday 17 August.
