Vimen Sabapati’s Case: Ramgoolam Heard By The Special Striking Team

A team from the PHQ Special Striking Team questioned the Labour Party leader on Monday about his links with the alleged drug trafficker. The police officers are looking into the former Prime Minister’s security detail. It should be noted that as former Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam is still under the protection of the Very Important Person Security Unit. However, he has a private security team. Vimen Sabapati, who was arrested by the ASP Ashik Jagai unit on May 3 with more than 10 kg of heroin in his car, was one of Navin Ramgoolam’s security guards during his various outings. Shortly after Vimen Sabapati’s arrest, Navin Ramgoolam told the press that Sabapati had not been part of his security detail for about six months.
