Twenty Taekwondo Players From Rodrigues Compete In Mauritius

A delegation of 30 persons led by Head Coach Jean Laval Plaiche was in Mauritius last weekend to participate in a Poomsae and Combat competition. The team was composed of 3 girls and 15 boys divided in the 20 or so categories. There were also 2 handi taekwondo, one girl and one boy. The coach said that the athletes made a very good impression. The next competition is scheduled for December in Côte d’Or as part of the 50th anniversary of the implementation of Taekwondo in Rodrigues by the great Master Louis Christian Hung Wai Wing in 1973.
