Tiktoker Tasha Lamour Arrested For Cruelty To Animals

Must Read

Nathan Josué Mercure, 29, known to the public as tiktoker Tasha Lamour, was arrested this Tuesday afternoon of February 7 on a charge of cruelty to animals. His arrest follows a statement made against him by an Animal Control and Enforcement Officer of the Mauritius Society for the Animals Welfare (MSAW) for cruelty to animals. After giving his statement, Tasha Lamour was released on parole. He confessed to the charges against him.  He will be brought before the court of Pamplemousses this Wednesday morning of February 8 where his trial will be heard.

This MSAW employee went to the Baie du Tombeau police station this Tuesday morning, February 7, to make a statement for cruelty to animals. This 45 year old resident of La Rosa said he saw a video of a user on his Facebook page around 9 am on Sunday, February 5, showing a person saying, “pou ale to pa pou ale bann…”, and at the same time, throwing stones with his right hand at two brown puppies, and these puppies ran away screaming.

After a little investigation, he was able to identify the location as Baie du Tombeau, near a beach.

The suspect person, who was abusing these puppies, was none other than Tasha Lamour wearing blue shorts and a black bikini top with a pair of sandals in her left hand. This person was carrying a shoulder bag.

Tasha Lamour, who lives in Roche-Bois, was later arrested by a team of police officers from the Baie du Tombeau police station. After giving his statement, he was released on parole. However, he will have to appear in court in Pamplemousses this Wednesday morning, February 8, where he will be charged with cruelty to animals. His trial will be heard the same day.
