Sulakshna Beekarry-Sunassee, Kesnaytee Bissonauth and Pravin Harrah are now Puisne Judges. Kesnaytee Bissoonauth, former Acting Master and Registrar, is grateful for the trust placed in her. She says she will carry out this role with the same devotion.

Sulakshna Beekarry-Sunassee, former Assistant Solicitor-General, says the judiciary is a life of service and that she will work for the people. Pravin Harrah, acting President of the Industrial Court, says he is humbled and proud of his appointment. It is important to note that these appointments come after the method of appointment was reviewed. Those who aspire to the position must now apply to become a judge, whereas previously the criterion of seniority was used.
