It was on the morning of Wednesday, April 19, that this grade 8 student from a private school went to the Rivière du Rempart police station to report a case of assault. Her statement was made in the presence of her mother. In great detail, this resident of Plaine des Roches explained that on Tuesday, April 18, around 2:45 p.m., she was walking along Route Royale in Rivière du Rempart, when she was accosted by four students from a state college. They started to argue with her, before two of them started to slap her and hit her body.
At one point she was on the ground and the two girls continued to beat her. The other two girls were watching this violent scene as spectators. She said she knew the name of one of her daughters. However, she told the police that she will be able to identify them.
