Yesterday, Sherry Singh and his wife were arrested. Their arrest is linked to the investigation into the seizure of Rs 18 M worth of copper from the Tradeway International smelter at La Tour Koenig on April 10. Sherry Singh and his wife, who have been placed under arrest, arrived at Central Barracks at around 8.15pm in the company of Special Striking Team officers. The couple were arrested as part of the investigation into the seizure of 22 tonnes of copper worth Rs 18 million from the Tradeway International smelter at La Tour Koenig on April 10. Sherry Singh and his wife are expected to spend the night in custody pending their court appearance on Tuesday.
