Resignations To Come In The MMM, According To Manesh Gobin

At the MSM press conference on Saturday, MSM President Joe Lesjongard returned to the situation of Air Mauritius. He praised the action of the government which put an end to the status of voluntary administration of the company during this week thanks to the billions injected. He said he was aware that there were bad decisions taken within the airline. He points out that for the government, “it was a priority to allow Air Mauritius to restart”.

Joe Lesjongard reviewed the week marked by the opening of the borders and the latest decisions taken by the government, which he said were “crucial and important for the future of the country”.

The MSM president also said that in addition to the Rs 10.4 billion disbursed by the government to support the tourism sector, an additional Rs 2.4 billion will be injected until December in this sector, “the most affected by the pandemic,” he added.

Maneesh Gobin focused his speech on politics. According to him, there will be more resignations in the MMM, week after week. Prediction of the MSM Secretary General, who was also speaking at the Sun Trust on Saturday, October 2.

“We have taken over the leadership of the country by popular vote. Take your destiny into your own hands by making the right choice” is the message Maneesh Gobin is sending to all those who want to join the government. “It is not too late. We open our arms to people of good will and sincerity,” he added.

Nevertheless, he clarified that the “government is not hiring anyone or promising anything to anyone.” The MSM secretary general added that the government team is taking note of all these resignations. For Maneesh Gobin, the resigners “realize who are the ones working and who are wasting the population’s time.”
