The Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister for Rodrigues, Outer Islands and Territorial Integrity, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, received, at the New Treasury Building, in Port Louis, this afternoon, a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in presence of the Vice-Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Mauritius, Mr Khalid bin Marzouq Alotaibi.
The Republic of Mauritius and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have a longstanding relation. Bilateral ties date back to 1978. Saudi Arabia has contributed to the realisation of several projects in Mauritius and provided continued financial assistance and support to sustain the development of Mauritius.
