The Leader of the Labour party, has been under observation at the Welkin Clinic since Tuesday afternoon. He was suffering from severe abdominal pain. It was initially reported that he has acute gastritis. According to reports, he has been going through an emotional ordeal since Monday.
His condition is reported as ‘ not serious’. More fear than harm, fearing a similar situation as the previous time when he had Covid 19, Dr Ramgoolam has been kept under observation as a precautionary measure. Dr Farhad Aumeer and a team from the Welkin Clinic are at his bedside to monitor his condition. Le Matinal wishes Dr Ramgoolam a speedy recovery.
This event led to the cancellation of his meeting with Xavier Luc Duval and Paul Bérenger. They were due to set out the protest in the streets of the Capital for the MSM government’s Step-Down following Sniffing’s allegations.
