A resident of Barkly, Jason unfortunately did not survive his injuries. Apparently, the victim of a hit-and-run last Thursday, his body was discovered on the side of the road before being rushed to hospital. Having undergone a delicate operation on his head to rescue him, the young singer passed away on Sunday 4 September.

Released in 2020 and produced by Dj Bing Prod, the album Vérité boosted the career of both artists especially through the title Si ou les. The late singer also made a name for himself with the track Ar twa, which is still a hit.

For singer Jah Mike, Jason was an artist with a promising future: “It’s a great loss for local music. We had a project together. It’s a pity it won’t happen.

Owin Coeur de Lion remembers a friendly person who made his family his priority: “As an artist, we met several times in concerts. He was a very nice person in human terms. I remember that after each event he always rushed to go back to his family.”
