Christopher Warren Permal will be at the Foire de Paris for the 2nd consecutive year. For this second event, Mauritian music will be in the spotlight for a whole day.

On 4 May 2022, Christopher Warren Permal took part in the Foire de Paris unexpectedly. The Mauritian artist is invited this year for the Tropiques en fête event to be held during the Paris Fair: “I was on tour in Europe in 2022. Following the withdrawal of an artist, I was able to perform at this fair. This year, the organisation has officially invited me.”
And as one good thing never comes alone, the organisers wanted to put Mauritian music in the spotlight: “The organisers offered me to come with a delegation of Mauritian singers. As the deadline was a bit short, I preferred to call on artists from the diaspora who already live in France. So artists like Tey, JF Fly, Gloria and some other DJs will share the stage with me.
The young artist will also be present at the Fé Bougé l’Océan Indien festival to be held on 28 May at the Zénith in Paris: “It will be another honour for me to be part of this festival. The couple Laura and Alain Ramanisum, Bigg Frankii, Dj Jordan, Bruno Raya and Blakkayo will also be at the festival, which will also see the participation of other big names from the region.”
