Alexandrine Belle-Etoile returned home on January 17 after proudly representing Mauritius at the Miss Universe contest in the United States. The young woman now wishes to share her experience with the future candidates.
Of course, there was no title or ranking. But the visibility she offered to the country is simply extraordinary: “I believe I have accomplished my mission even if I did not bring back the crown. I have indeed helped to raise the country’s profile internationally. As a testimony, several personalities from here and elsewhere as the 2nd runner-up of Miss France 2022 who has supported me a lot. I take this opportunity to thank all those who accompanied me in this adventure.
Describing herself today as more mature, this art teacher now wants to share her experience with future Mauritian candidates to the Miss Universe contest: “Miss Universe is a complete beauty contest with its own requirements. My participation in this contest allows me to better understand the process. I wish to help other Mauritian girls to better prepare for this contest.
Alexandrine also intends to focus on Art Brave: “Art Brave is a project that promotes local talents through art. In order to carry it out, I need sponsors and I am open to all collaborations.”
