Mauritius celebrates its 55th year of Independence and 31 years of Republic this Sunday. On March 12, 1968, Mauritius became an independent state within the Commonwealth. This year the official flag raising will be on Sunday, 12 March 2023 at 10 30 hrs at the State House, Le Réduit.
