L’Espoir Platform has decided to cancel its convention in Goodlands this Friday. Moreover, it will participate in the Labour Party’s meeting at Mohit Hall, St Pierre. The decision was taken on Tuesday by Paul Bérenger and Xavier-Luc Duval. The various leaders of L’Espoir Platform said it did not make sense to organize two events by the Opposition parties on the same day.
The executive committee of the Labour party met last Monday to make sure that this gathering is a success. In addition to the mobilization campaign, in view of the congress on Friday, the Navin Ramgoolam and his team are also considering the proposal of Rezistans ek Alternativ which launched, once again on Saturday, that all the forces opposed to Pravind Jugnauth, and his government unite.
