Know Why Science Claims Wine Is Good For Health

Must Read

Our ancestors began farming 10,000 years ago, in extreme conditions. Settling down in one place was considered dangerous as it exposed oneself to attacks from wild animals. Therefore, shifting from nomadic hunter-gathering farming was a life-threatening decision. With prolonged periods of farming and cross-breeding in the last few centuries, fruits and vegetables cultivated in huge bulks were grown to the size of cereal.

In earlier times, when there were no airtight methods of preservation, it was a huge loss when the product turned out to be bad. Some believe that the rise of civilization and the establishment of empires began with ways of preserving a piece of land. While others say, that fermentation is how human societies worked that eventually lead to the rise of civilizations.

The early farmers used fermentation methods to preserve their produce for a longer period. This method was used to make beverages out of fermented fruits, vegetables, cereals, and honey. With time, the fermentation process was improved which later resulted in many advantages of fermented foods and beverages to the human body.
