Kim Jong Un’s Daughter’s First Appearance At The Launch Of “New Missile”

Must Read

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un witnessed the launch of “a new type” of intercontinental ballistic missile on Friday along with his young daughter, who was never mentioned anywhere before.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) released some photographs of Un hand in hand with his daughter.

KCNA claimed that the “new” missile overseen by the North Korean leader was a Hwasong-17. It added that it launched from Pyongyang International Airfield, flying a distance of 999.2 kilometers (621 miles).

Kim Jong Un said the test was aimed to “clearly demonstrate” his country’s ability to counter what he termed the enemy’s war drills.

“Kim Jong Un solemnly declared that if the enemies continue to pose threats to the DPRK, frequently introducing nuclear strike means, our Party and government will resolutely react to nukes with nuclear weapons and to total confrontation with all-out confrontation,” KCNA said.

Kim Jong Un’s private life is little known and that is why KCNA did not mention his daughter in it’d report. This is her first appearance in the media.

Earlier in 2013, Dennis Rodman, former basketball Star, told a media publication that Kim had a “baby” called “Ju Ae.”

Dennis Rodman said he spent time with the Un family and reffered Kim Jong Un “a good dad”.

He told the British publication, the Guardian, “I held their baby Ju Ae and spoke with Ms Ri as well.”

As per South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS), the state media did not reveal Kim’s marriage until July 2012. The media also reported that the couple have three children together.
