After Janhvi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor’s Bollywood debut has been much awaited. Speculations of her doing a film with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda started doing the rounds ever since they were spotted together for dance rehearsals. Thereafter, reports suggested that Khushi and Agastya will make their debut along with Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan in Zoya Akhtar’s film which is a Hindi adaptation of Archies.
While there has been no confirmation from either of these, Boney Kapoor seems to have dropped a major hint about Khushi’s debut film. Speaking to India Today, Boney said, “She will start shooting for her film in April. Can’t tell you more, you will know more about it soon.”
Boney had earlier said that like Janhvi, even Khushi wants to make a career in acting. The star kid already has a strong presence on social media. And going by the developments, it looks like an official announcement is not very far away.
In January 2021, Boney had mentioned that he would not be the one to launch her. He had told Bombay Times, “I have the resources, but I would rather have someone else launch her because I am her father and one tends to get indulgent. You can’t afford to do that as a filmmaker and nor is it good for the actor.”
