Long held in check and even shaken up, Italy finally got the better of Austria (2-1 ) in extra time this Saturday at Wembley during the round of 16 of the Euro.
The Squadra finally found the solution during extra time thanks to goals signed by Chiesa (95th) and Pessina (105th). Austria nevertheless closed the gap via Kalajdzic (114th). Italy will face the winner of the Belgium-Portugal match in the quarter-finals.

Italy will play their quarter-final in Munich, Germany on July 2. Their opponent will be known this Sunday at the end of the round of 16 between Belgium and Portugal.
