A man, whose identity is not yet known, was admitted to Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle and placed on artificial ventilation. He was found unconscious under the porch of a store at Frederick Bonnefin Street, Curepipe on Wednesday morning, December 14.
It is following a request at 6:30 am this Wednesday, December 14, that the personnel of an ambulance of the Emergency Medical Service (SAMU) went to the street Frederick Bonnefin, Curepipe. A man was lying unconscious under the porch of a store. After care was given to him, he was transported to the hospital, transferred to the intensive care unit and then admitted to the ward.
The victim had no external injuries but an internal bleed to the head was detected on a CT scan. Police officers from the Curepipe police station returned to the location where he was found, but no information could be obtained regarding his identity or how he ended up under the porch of this store.
