Indian Airlines, Vistara, began operating flights between India’s financial capital Mumbai and Mauritius. The direct flight services, which started from 26th March, will operate five times a week and connect Mauritius directly to India.
Three-class service flight
Vistara is a joint venture of Tata group, India’s largest MNC, and Singapore Airlines. Mauritius is the first African destination as well as 15th international destination for the airlines. For this route, the airline has deployed its Airbus A321LR plane, which is newly incorporated. The plane features three class service- the Premium Economy cabin, Business and Economy Class. The UK 0241 flight will directly operate on the Mumbai – Mauritius route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays at Mumbai (06:05) and will reach its destination in Mauritius (10:30). The Flight UK 0242 will conclude the return journey on the respective days from Mauritius (11:30) and reach Mumbai at 18:50.
Following the plane’s arrival in February, Vistara quickly declared Mauritius as its initial target. The Mumbai-Mauritius airport pair’s distance of 2,905 miles (4,675 km) is well within the aircraft’s 4,000 nautical mile (7,400 km) range. By using added fuel in three extra centre tanks, it can carry 206 passengers and travel great distances.

According to Vistara, they will accept all customers who fulfill visa and entry requirements in both the countries, in accordance with the rules established by the relevant governments. It is also praised for maintaining high safety standards and providing world-class cabin cleanliness.
