Must Read

As per reports, the Jammu & Kashmir police arrested two terrorists associates of the JeM (Jaish-e-Mohammad) terrorist organization from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to a statement by the police, “On specific information about the movements of ANEs (anti-national elements) Pulwama Police with assistance of 44 RR and 182 Bn CRPF arrested two terror associate of proscribed outfit Jaish -i- Mohammad.” The statement further says, “The two were involved in providing shelter, logistics and other support to the terrorists as well as in transporting of arms and ammunition and explosive material for the terrorists in Pulwama.”

The arrested terrorists were involved in transportation of arms and ammunitions and also providing logistic support to the organization in the valley and were in close contact with their commanders.

The two militants were identified as Adil Ali and Asif Gulzar. Adil Ali is said to be a resident of Achan village while Asif Gulzar was recognized as a resident of Hajidarpora village. Earlier this week, security forces had arrested two more JeM terrorist associates – Umer Ramzan, a resident of Brabandina, and Javid Ahmed Mala, a resident of Khelan.

The police have immediately started filed a case against the arrested militants and started the investigation. The police have also claimed to have found incriminating materials from the two.

Continued Infiltration

The continued infiltration of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan-based Deobandi Jihadist Mujahideen group, into India’s Kashmir region raises questions on the false propaganda spread by Pakistan and Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan, on various international forums where it has repeatedly portrayed itself as a nation that doesn’t harbor terrorist outfits or supports them. Terrorist organizations like JeM get continued support from the likes of ISI and other Pakistan-based organizations that continue to infiltrate the Kashmir valley and disrupt peace and stability in the region.
