A 24-year-old teacher at a pre-primary school in Flacq reported a case of indecent assault to the Trou d’Eau Douce police station. During the journey to her home, an individual to her right in the back seat of a brown cab rubbed his sex against her. During the journey, she informed her family of the incident. In the meantime, the individual got out of the vehicle at Montée Bastille, Trou d’Eau Douce.
In the early evening of Monday July 3, this young woman went to her local police station to report a case of indecent assault. In her complaint, she explained that she had boarded a brown cab in Flacq at around 4.30 p.m. on Monday, July 3 to go to her home. During the journey, a man was sitting on her right in the back seat. When the car reached Belle Etoile, Trou d’Eau Douce, he leaned over her and rubbed his sex against her.
The young woman says she immediately reprimanded him, to which he replied that he had an injury. The young woman took out her cell phone to inform her relatives of the situation. But this perverse man had to get out of this vehicle at a place called Belle Etoile in Trou d’Eau Douce.
She told police she was offended and humiliated by the man’s act. The Trou d’Eau Douce police have opened an investigation.
