A 60-year-old resident of the Latanier, St. Croix area reported a case of theft from her son, a 34-year-old drug addict. He removed the aluminum door from her bathroom during her absence on Sunday, March 26. She questioned her son upon his return, and he soon confessed that he is the author of this act and that he entrusted this door to a friend to be sold. The value of this door is Rs 8000.
It is in the evening of Sunday, March 26 that this sexagenarian went to the police station of Abercrombie, St. Croix to report a case of theft of an aluminum door of its bathroom this door. During the evening of Sunday, March 26, this man was arrested on a theft charge. After his interrogation, he was placed in a cell at the Roche-Bois police station. On Monday, March 27, he was brought before the Port-Louis court on a provisional charge of theft. He was then taken back to the police cell.
