Created in 2014, the Invictus Games are a recurring theme in Harry and Meghan’s relationship as they arrived in the Netherlands to attend the fifth edition.
British Prince Harry and his wife Meghan appeared in The Hague on Friday, on the eve of the opening of the Invictus Games, games created for wounded soldiers that are being held for the fifth time in the Netherlands.
Before heading to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, Prince Harry visited his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Thursday with his wife Meghan during a stopover in the UK.
According to several media reports, the couple visited the sovereign, who is due to celebrate her 96th birthday in a few days’ time on 21 April, at Windsor Castle, which she has made her main residence and which is located some 40 kilometres from London.
Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, have not been in the UK together since their shock withdrawal from the royal family two and a half years ago. They now live in California.
