Elon Musk is prepared to set several humanoid robots called Tesla Bots in his Tesla factory. This reminds of Musk’s statement which he had made four years ago. He had said that relying on robots resulted in a ‘production hell’ and that humans are better than humanoids in certain jobs.

Now Musk has decided to deploy thousands of robots in the Tesla factory, and their numbers might increase to millions globally as per job roles. The company has been holding meetings and conferences regarding this.

Elon Musk has always been vocal about using robots for various uses. In the past, In a TED talk he had expressed that robots would be useful in taking care of the elderly as well as preparing dinner. Using robots could be more profitable to the company than electric cars and he is seeking to accomplish bigger things.
On September 30, ‘AI DAY’ Tesla’s project Optimus will reveal its prototype. Musk stated that next year, the production of these potent robots will begin, though robotic experts believe that Musk’s humanoids will not be a success. A professor, at Arizona State University, specializing in human systems engineering stated that if these robots have to succeed, they must be efficient in performing several spontaneous tasks.
The professor continues, “The robots should not just ‘walk around’ or dance as it has “already been done”. Elon Musk already stands out in successfully making the idea of the self-driving electric car so easy.
