The Mauritius Cycling Federation had announced on July 1st its preparation plan for the riders who will participate in the Commonwealth Games and the Tour de la Réunion. It is for this purpose that four riders left Mauritius yesterday in the company of the national coach, Trevor Court. The riders concerned are Christopher Lagane, Alexandre Mayer, Aurélien de Comarmond and Hanson Mataombé.
Hanson Mataombé will not be part of the Commonwealth Games but will accompany the team during the preparation races throughout Europe. At the end of July Hanson Martombé will go to Poland to continue his preparation.
At the end of July Christopher Lagane, Alexandre Mayer, Aurélien de Comarmond and Grégory Mayer will join other Mauritian runners who will participate in the Commonwealth Games.
