The Ministry of Health is reinstating vaccination in alphabetical order as from Wednesday 24th November. This follows all the chaos caused by the endless queues, the limited number of doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine available daily, the crowds that were rumbling, as well as the dismissal of those who came to wait since very early. The public’s enthusiasm for Johnson & Johnson is thicker.
Vaccination will be for the first and third doses, i.e. those vaccinated twice with Covaxin, Covishield/AstraZeneca and Sinopharm and whose interval exceeds four months. A new schedule has been established and will run as follows:
- A-F: Wednesday 24th November
- G-N: Thursday 25th November
- O-Z: Friday 26th November
The centres will also be open for access on Saturday 27th November but only for those who have received a confirmed appointment from the Economic Development Board (EDB).
