Restrictions lifted by 30 June
“Due to the Budget and parliamentary debates over the past two weeks, the issue of lifting the restrictions has not yet been discussed by the High-Level Committee. The data will be collected and analyzed before a decision is taken,” said the Health Minister, Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal. He recalled that the situation has been manageable with health precautions and vaccination. However, he said, “the winter and seasonal flu waves may be a concern in this assessment.” He was participating in the launch of a workshop on the digitization of medical data in the Health Services in Plaine-Magnien. As for the suspected case of Monkeypox, “the patient is currently in isolation at home, and he was returning from a trip to India. We have sent samples for analysis. The results will be known in the course of the next week.”
