Department of Health and Welfare laboratories have completed testing of 789 PCR tests as of 5:00 PM Tuesday afternoon.
- 9 patients in quarantine in two converted Isolation Wards at Brown Sequard Hospital for more than a week tested positive on Day 7. These patients were PCR negative when tested on Day 0.
- 1 case was detected as a result of routine testing at a quarantine facility. This case was a hotel staff member who had just come on duty.
1,226 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and 944 of them have returned home as cured.
There are 264 active cases of COVID-19 in the country and as of this afternoon 20 of them were admitted to the New ENT Hospital, either with mild symptoms or with pre-existing co-morbidities requiring medical supervision.
