To mark the occasion of China’s national day, the Chinatown Foundation organized a ceremony at the municipality of Quatre-Bornes, in the presence of Liying Zhu, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Mauritius and Eddy Boissezon, vice-president of the Republic of Mauritius, among others.
Liying Zhu has, during his speech, maintained that the whole world is much more interested in Chinese culture, including language, painting, singing, music and dance, among others. This leads to the enrichment of the Mauritian culture, as Mauritius is known for its multiculturality.
This event was also an opportunity to promote the “Water Cube Cup 2022”. “Mauritius is among the best organizers of the Water Cube Cup for the second time in three years. I wish that the friendly relationship between China and Mauritius continues to progress in a healthy way so that we can create better benefits for both countries,” added Jean Paul Lam, President of the Chinatown Foundation.
Jean Paul Lam concluded by “wishing that the friendly relationship between China and Mauritius continues to progress in a healthy way so that we can create better benefits for both countries.
