Cardinal Maurice Piat To Celebrate Christmas Mass At Melrose Prison

After two years marked by the pandemic and restrictions, parishes will return to the tradition of large Christmas gatherings. According to a press release from the Diocese of Port-Louis, several masses will be celebrated in the island’s prisons to show that God is close to those in distress.

Cardinal Maurice Piat will visit the Melrose prison at 9am on Saturday 24 December for a religious celebration.
