After two years marked by the pandemic and restrictions, parishes will return to the tradition of large Christmas gatherings. According to a press release from the Diocese of Port-Louis, several masses will be celebrated in the island’s prisons to show that God is close to those in distress.
Cardinal Maurice Piat will visit the Melrose prison at 9am on Saturday 24 December for a religious celebration.

On Saturday, December 24, from the Holy Family Church in Rose-Belle, the Christmas vigil will be broadcast at 8:30 pm. Father Jean Michael Durhône will give the homily.
