He is satisfied with the crowd. Bruneau Laurette said that the real Mauritians are in Port-Louis at his citizen demonstration. “Lions are the sheep are at home or behind the screen,” he stated before adding that his fight is for every Mauritian.
Several members of the Labour Party (PTr) were present at the demonstration. In the crowd, we could see Navin Ramgoolam, Arvin Boolell, leader of the PTr in Parliament, Ritish Ramful, general secretary of the PTr, and many MPs, including Stephanie Anquetil, Fabrice David… The ex-CEO of Mauritius Telecom, Sherry Singh was also part of the crowd.
The latter said that he wants to show his support for the Kistnen family. “I have never met Mr Kistnen. But I can imagine the torture his family is going through. It is unacceptable that two years later, the killers of Soopramanien Kistnen are still at large,” he said.
Arvin Boolell, for his part, says that the Labour Party demands justice.
