Big Brother Titan Promises To Be The Biggest Reality Show With 20 Housemates

Big Brother Titans, a hugely anticipated African reality television show, premiered on Sunday. 

The reality television show has participants only from Nigeria and South Africa. Earlier, Big Brother Naija only had Nigerians while Big Brother Africa had housemates from all over the continent. 

The reality show will run for 72 days and is co-hosted by the popular Big Brother Naija anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and Big Brother Mzansi’s host Lawrence Maleka.

The show which promises to grab major audiences throughout Africa, will see contestants competing for a prize of $ 100,000.

On the first episode, the show’s Executive Head, Content, MultiChoice Nigeria, Dr. Busola Tejumola promised audiences of 10-week long entertainment from the house. He said,  “This is a special fusion of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi, that will surely deliver drama and excitement like never before. The festive period is over, but entertainment is just getting started for the year. For the next 72 days, housemates from the two giant nations; Nigeria, and South Africa, will be serving drama, energy, excitement and all round entertainment as they try to outwit one another for the $100,000 grand prize. Viewers will be enjoying special Biggie’s diary sessions, Head of House games, Friday night parties and tasks, live on the dedicated channels, DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.”

Big Brother Titans feature 20 housemates 

The first episode saw a 25-year-old Cossy, a South African woman describing herself as fun-loving, but ‘serious’ person, after which other contestants started being revealed. 

After Cossy came Yemi Cregx, a 30 year-old Nigerian fashion influencer. He opined that he is eager to know more about South Africans during his stay in the house. 

With his interest in South Africans, he immediately gelled up with Cossy and struck up a conversation. One of his actions of adjusting her wig caught the attention of netizens who posted its video on social media and started conversations around it.

Other South African housemates are Juicy Jay, Nelisa, Mmeli, Khosi, Ipeleng, Thabang, Yaya, Khehla, Tsatii, and Justin.

Nigerian contestants are Olivia, Blaqboy, Nana, Marven, Jaypee, Ebubu, Jenni O, Kanaga, and Yvonne.

-Khosi is a journalist from South Africa aged 25.

-Juicy Jay is a semi pro rugby player from South Africa aged 30.

-Olivia is a 23 years-old Nigerian actress and content creator.

-Nelisa, from South Africa, was born in Durban and grew up in Cape Town. The 25-year-old said her great energy and trouble follow her everywhere. She is fascinated by tall, dark and handsome men.

-Blaqboi is a filmmaker and content creator from Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. His age is 26.

-Mmeli is a 25-years-old male South African model.

-Nana is a 22-year-old entrepreneur and she belongs to Nigeria’s Kaduna State

-25-year-old Ipeleng is a law student and an aspiring content creator. 

-Marvin has an athletic body and six-pack abs and he also showed some of his dancing qualities. He is a 29-year-old chemical engineer and Nigerian model.

-Thabang, also expressed his excitement about dancing, is a Data analyst from Soweto, South Africa. 

-JayPee is a Nurse from Nigeria’s Lagos State. She said she would love to show her drip in the house. 

-Yaya, 31, is a model, actress and TV presenter from South Africa, aged.

-Ebubu is a 28-year-old actor and model. Belonging to Nigeria’s Anambra State, he says he’s happy being a contestant here. 

-Khehla is a sales executive from South Africa and aged 31.

-Jenni O, 25, is a Health and Safety specialist from Nigeria.

-Tsatsii, 24-years-old, is an art lover and a scientist from South Africa.

-Kanaga Junior, from Nigeria’s South East, entered the house happily dancing with full energy.

-Justin, a 21-years-old man, is a content creator from South Africa. 

-Yvonne,27, is a female model, skincare enthusiast and interior designer from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. 

Through the voting options accessible on the Africa Magic website, MyDStv, and MyGOtv apps, viewers throughout the continent will also be able to keep their favorite housemates on the show.
