The 2023 Brit Awards was an extravagant event with nominations of over 50 artists. Harry Styles became the highlight of the event with grabbing all four Brit Awards-best album, artist and pop/R&B act, after whom came Wet Leg and Beyoncé with two awards each.
His massive hit ‘As It Was’, which won song of the year, was played at the opening of the ceremony. On Saturday, Mo Gilligan presided over a star-studded gala at London’s O2 Arena where the winners were revealed.

Stars with the most bizarre dresses
The red carpet witnessed some of the most bizarre outfits that the stars wore. Showing off metallics, ruffles and dazzling shine dresses, the stars highlighted a different fashion taste.
- Sam Smith wore a stark black dress with a plastic ensemble. It seemed as if the dress would float him away and everyone was surprised how well the ‘Gimme’ singer would sit with the suit.
Sam Smith - US singer and rapper Ashnikko wore a nude latex outfit that was of floor-length. The skin colour outfit had overgrown boils on it, which caught everyone’s attention.
Ashnikko - Harry Styles wore a flared black jacket and trousers, with a massive matching corsage on his neck.
Harry Styles - Lizzo, who also performed, wore a fabulous gold, full-length ruffle, which bordered her dark metallic dress.
Lizzo - Eliza Rose wore a head-to-toe Vivienne Westwood, including a pearl necklace.
Eliza Rose - Wet Leg band’s members wore belts, lace and ruffles. They complimented them with light-toned suits and shirts, and shoes.
Wet Leg - Nova Twins wore their own designs which were stunning dresses with hoop petticoats. The dresses featured safety pins and tartan, with a reddish tone blending with the red carpet.
Nova Twins - singer Jessie J flaunted her big baby bump wearing a red outfit featuring ruffles.
Jessie J - Singer Kamille, wore a body covering green outfit with silky fabric and showed off her baby bump.
Kamille - Singer MNEK was all pink with even makeup and nails coloured in pink.
Singer MNEK - Members of the group Flo chose to wear dresses with the same material in burgundy. Their gowns were figure-hugging but the designs were very different.
Girl band Flo - Singer Michelle Visage dazzled in an outfit with all the colours of the Union flag.
